Law and Morality under Evil Conditions. The Case of SSjudge Konrad Morgen
In this paper I discuss the case of SS-judge Konrad Morgen and the moral ambiguities in his self-understanding and ‘legal activities’. I use the case-study for a more general discussion of the Nazi legal system. My claim is that a non-moralizing account of ‘legality’ is needed to cope with the distorted legal background of the Nazi system.
